So I went to the dyno about a month ago after putting on my cat back system. This is on a 2018 mustang gt. I am showing I’m about 10-15hp down now from 6000rpms and up. I also know my fuel is only about e60 instead of the e84 it tested to the last time, along with running my new drag radials.
I remember reading a while back that running slicks on the dyno with some of the big horsepower cars that they lost up to 50hp. I know I’m not loosing that much but I don’t know if anybody here has seen any numbers with drag radials compared to regular street tires on our cars. All the data logs came back good(lund looked through them even though I was a few days past my free revision).
Car was faster at the track of course with the drag radials and exhaust. Went from running 11.5s-11.6s to 11.3s-11.4s. And it’s way more consistent. The new tires are the 555r2. But I couldn’t stall it up at all or it would still spin but it would dead hook off idle.
Thanks y’all for any info
