I've never had my car on a dyno. Does anyone recommend locations around Indy or between Indy and St. Louis? I live on the western edge of Indiana near I-70. Any advice would be appreciated. Also, how much should I expect to pay?
Anderson-Ford in Clinton, Illinois has a dynojet and very experienced personnel operating it. You will see articles in Muscle Mustang and Fast Fords about them. I ran mine this summer during their customer appreciation days car show.
Indy would be closer. Kenny Brown (west side of Indy near the airport) has a dyno, but can not log A/F. Automotive Specialists in Noblesville (north side of Indy) has a dyno and can log A/F. There is also a shop in Bloomington, I think the name is Extreme Motorsports or something like that, they can log A/F. Those are the ones that I know of (been to all 3 of them).
$85-$100 for 3 pulls is what I would expect any of them to charge.
