Seen conflicting information. Pulled a set of XR3E intake cams out of a 99 and wanted to know if its 202 or 200. Mainly because I got them free and for this stock replacement 4V I'd rather use them and save the 96-98 cams I have for the side build I'll do after if they are 202 duration units. Pretty sure the 99 Cobra (and Conti) intake cams are the 202 duration but just wanted to be sure.

Thanks! Also means the 99 Conti is the cheap motor to get for C heads and good cams for $200-$400.

Yeah the heads and cams are the only thing from the conti engine worth anything

I have a good adapter plate to mate them to rwd trans. Getting more made. I only paid $200 for a 42k runner a few weeks ago.

Needs a single boss on the pass side drilled and tapped and the Mustang mounts bolt right up and it mounts like any 4.6L engine. This one is going to be a stopgap engine while I build a legit 700+whp capable motor on the side. Hopefully this one will hold at 8-10 intercooled PSI and a spot on tune.

Have any picture of the bosses? There's a couple of conti engines around but always pass on them

Well you need the adapter plate too... And it's a custom piece but like I said I'm going to get some made or maybe even DIY with the laser at work.

And yeah these engines are perfect because demand is not there and they probably never see more than 3k RPM ever being old ppl cars.

Actually I lied there are 2 bosses on the pass side. Just center your drill and don't **** up lol.

Can bolt the mount in place via the one bolt to get it perfect too. Drivers side has all bosses done already.
