Dumb ? about headlight lense

my headlights are taking in water somehow. i was wondering if i could pop the clear plastic lense off of the grey headlight assembly and dry the inside out and silicone it back together.

It is very hard to seperate the two pieces.....

All you need to do is pull the headlight assy out. Remove the bulb. Then dump the water out the bulb hole. If you can leave it that way for a few hours it would be best so that all the condensation will dry.

If the h/l lenses get water frequently.... either run a little glue around the perimeter to seal it again or dril 4-5 1/4" holes on the bottom side of the lense so the water can always drain itself.

But when you drill the holes it will always have moisture in it, try to seal it first like he said.

i drained it out and sealed it up. hopefully this will fix it. thanks yall.
