I'm going to talk to a lawyer today, but i'm wondering if you guys have any advice that would be beneficial to me. Is there a way to not get points with one in Missouri? I blew under a .14 BAC and spent 8 hours in detox. Before anybody starts, I have no excuses, and this is easily the dumbest thing i've ever done, so constructive answers are best.

You were caught red handed. You are still way over the top. You are going to get points, license suspension and surcharges. Unless there are some serious anomalies, your lawyer isnt going to make this go away. The points are the least of your worries. The conviction alone is what your insurance will use to dramatically raise your rates.
Okay, that's what i was afraid of. I've got an appointment with an attorney now, so i'll see if she can help me at all
