I was able to change mine with the car on the ground and I didn't remove anything. I just turned the wheel all the way stuck my long thin arm up into the front bumper just had to pull back the inner fender liner a little removed bulb and installed the new one and then did the other side took about 1 minute per side. If you have big arms and or short arms you may not be able to get up in there with out removing a few screws.

I was unable to do mine through the wheel wells. (It was a very tight fit for my arms, and I don't operate well in-the-blind.)

The job was, however, SIMPLE with a set of ramps and the removal of a plastic panel held in place (behind the splitter) by 9 screws. Check out Copper&Black's post for a picture of the removed valence. (Note that removal of the driving light assemblies/reflectors is NOT required.)
