I've been looking at a bunch of driving gloves, but haven't liked any of them so far. True racing gloves seem too bulky and regular leather driving gloves are too numb.

I'm trying to find something that not too expensive and provides a good feel.

What do you guys use?

For now I'm just using a pair of black Mechanix gloves, but Id like to get a set of these for next season.

Also....
Until I found this at Walmart I was set to get the $180 FR500 steering wheel. Instead, $12 later I had a Bell steering wheel cover on my car and it resembles the FR500 wheel well enough my buddy that has the FR500 wheel said "cool you got a FR500 steering wheel!" It's got great comfortable grip, increases the diameter of the smallish stock steering wheel and didnt set me back alot.

FlahDah man.
Look for a set of Aviator Flight gloves. Usually US Cav or a military/police clothing supply book will have them.

Remember the main reason to spend the extra money on the certified driving gloves is for the fire protection. But I guess that isn't really useful if you aren't wearing other fire protection clothing as well. I just like the piece of mind that my head, hands and feet are less likely to be burnt in the event of a fire.

For autocrossing, I have been using tackfield leather wide receiver's gloves.. Nike makes a good set but the best ones I have found are made by Neumann. They don't offer any fire protection, but they will keep your hands from getting raw from the wheel. They last a very long time.
