I just had d/s replaced and took car out for a test drive and I think its worse than it was before. What else should I have checked. It seems the vibration is coming from the pumpkin area of the rear end,and before you couldn't really tell where it was coming from.Anyone else have this happen?
Thanks

My driveshaft is being replaced today. Dealer says if that doesn't fix the vibe problem, the next step is to replace the rear end.

I had my driveshaft replaced and it made about 85% of the vibe go away. I still have a tiny bit of vibe, but it's not worth messing with at this point.

At what speeds do you get vibe?

Does the vibrating go away when you take your foot off the gas?

I had this problem at 80+. Dealer replaced one tire, and DS. This did not help. A ford rep came out and did a test drive and said it was fine, so the dealer could not do anymore. A few months later the TOB started to squeal. The dealer did a complete clutch replacement and to dealer and my suprise, the vib went away.
Have not had a problem since.

I picked my car up from the dealer today. They replaced the driveshaft for the vibe problem. I took it out for a test drive and it's nice and smooth at 90 now. I'm happy.

They also put the new flash on.
