Driver side window going up to far

I have noticed that my driver side window hits at the top when the window is all the way up and I close the door. I looked and the window stops are all the way down already. I tried to fix the problem by adding some material on the stops so the window doesn't go up as far and that is still not working. Anyone know what the problem might be? The car has never been hit on that side either.

Make sure the bolts holding the glass have not allowed it to slip and slide out of it's position.

Also, the L shaped stops, if they are bent in an acute angle, then I would remove, and bend them in a right angle or slightly obtuse.

I also added some padding to mine to reduce the upward travel.

thanks for the link. thats what it was. right now im just waiting on the glue to dry and hopefully it works.
