driver side header stud.

hey all. haveing trouble getting my MAC to seal up tight. seems the stock header to mid pipe studs are retarded. is there a way to remove them from the header with out snapping them off.?:shrug: seems like it wont tighten down enough to make a good seal. is there a replacement stud kit out there that will work?.

You probably need new gaskets between the manifold/mid pipe. Either that or put some copper silicone on there.

The MAC midpipe requires a gasket. The stocker doesn't.

on the drivers side? looked like ball socket. the pass side looked like it had a gasket.. im taking it in tomarrow

Yeah, the drivers side is a ball n socket and the passenger side you need a gasket. I always replace the pass. side w/ a ford oem gasket for there. I'm putting a prochamber on tomorrow night. also got myself a set of new nuts so i don't have to put the damn rusted ones back on
