I have a Ruslow drive shaft loop that I need to install. It doesn't require any drilling but since it's a one piece I do have to drop the drive shaft. How do I do that? Do I just remove the 4 bolts at the rear of the ds in order to drop it just enough to pass it through the loop, or do I have to drop the whole thing?

mark the U-joint and driveshaft there they meet so you put it back in the same config as you pulled it off.. remove the bolts.. then the yoke slides right out of the back of the tranny.. make sure you have something there to catch any tranny fluid that might drip out (also have a plastic bag and a rubber band to put over the tranny in case it keeps seeping fluid).. its so easy to drop that you shouldnt try to waste your time working around it..
