In the pro ranks, it does require a lot of skill, not my cup of tea

Takes considerable skill, probably a lot of fun to do, but I would rather just get around the track as quickly as possible.

Drifting is cool. Don't get mad because you can't do it.
If you were paying attention, you would see that most people said it was cool or fun to do but AS A SPORT, it was gay.

this is my buddy's comment toward drifting.......i laugh every time i hear it

"Drifting is like cheerleading: it's fun to watch, it's difficult when done right, yes there are competitions, but it's still not a sport."

"drifting" used to be done in racing 40+ years ago, and was called "power sliding" when cars didn't handle very good, and you had to align your car to the next straight away to apply power..

In your opinion.

How do you know what everyone else is or is not capable of?

If everyone already knows how to do it then the new Bondurant Drifting School is doomed :rollseyes

Drifting to me is Ghey! While I was working this past summer at ghey ole OM, there was a guy that worked there that loved drifting...in his non-turbo 80's something Supra...and the best was the STOCK everything Honda 4-door Accord. He had stickers on his supra and the accord. It was ghey hearing him talking about it day to day. Oh yeah and that he thought he could beat my supercharged GT..when I even spanked him on the freeway :rollseyes

Dont forget the OUTLAW class racing, they slide through half the track.Actually turning their wheel right to go left.It used to be on ESPN years ago but has since made way for poker. :mj:

Anyone who voted ghey must not like RWD cars at all.

They must also not like any form of circle track or road racing.

Talk about a little neandrethal mind. Time to go back under you rock. :loser:

These same people probably don't like turbos because imports use them or AWD because imports use it or et cetera. What a bunch of near sighted losers... :nonono:
