Dragon TB on 2.3 whipple

I have an early 2.3 whipple gen1 (lysholm blower) that had stock tb. I wanted to put a mom blade on it. Well I did a little research. I could buy a new plenum or cut the center out. Well either way the plenum had to come off. So I figured I'll give it a shot. I also block off the old IAC port and relocate the IAC to the back side. I ended up using a IAC to a 02 GT. I must say it came out good.

I have been in contact with a few people about doing this. I'd image the gains would be nice especially throttle tip in. Did you do a retune to see the gains? Looks great

I have this exact setup on my car. Same blower, TB and IAC relocation. With a 3" upper it makes 590whp and 18 lbs of boost. The 2.6" RR pulley it peaked at 23 lbs of boost and tapered off at 22. I fought idling issues until I found that choking the clean air supply with a smaller hose being pressed into the larger hose that connects to the IAC seemed to help.
