Hey everyone,

I'm trying to figure out if I should run a drag radials in the rear of my car? My car only gets driven in warm weather on the weekends it currently has 20 inch roush rims with hankook evo12s which are ok but i spin them pretty easily. I went to the drag track for the first time and would like to go again maybe 2-3 tunes a year if that but not sure if I should keep my current set up and just buy an extra set of tires just for the track or replace my current rear tires with a tire that will hook better on both street and strip??

10" or wider rim

Some have squeezed it on a 9.5 but its not recommended or preferred

I have run 305 NT05r's for two years on 9.5" wheels, no problems. Ideal, no, but DEF doable. I've cut 1.6 60' and got 8000 miles out of my last set. They don't bulge bad. I can get u pics shortly

10.5 is ideal for 305's... WeldCraft wheels does a great job widening aluminum rims... I had mine done.

I just got a pair of 245/40/R18 Mickey Thompson ET street radial 2's and mounted them on a pair of stock OEM wheels to match my fronts factory wheels.

I plan on trying them for the 1st time Wed. night at Etown.

They are 25.8 in tall and have a 8.5 inch tread width.

My only mod is a custom tune by JDM.

No cold air , exhaust , intake or gears.
