Drag radial ?

I'm wanting to get some DR's and I have a quick question. Would it be better to have a 275/35/17 or something on a smaller rim for more sidewall like a 275/65?/15.

I have 285/35/18 nitto drags on 18'' Saleens and they look perfect as far as how they work at the track I will find out tonite.

I'm goin to put them on the stock wheels. I like to drive my car alot in the summer and don't want to chance getting caught in the rain with dr's. And they're alot cheaper, lol.
