18 for street performance. About the same at the track. I know 12 is too low. The middle of the tread will cup because it does not have enough air pressure to keep the center on the ground.

18# works for me, consistent 1.8's. Keep 'em about 25# on the street to prevent wear as they tend to wear in the middle. Of course now I have an extra set of wheels for swapping street/strip.

I'm curious as to what everyone uses aswell on the street.I have mine on 30psi now when I got them I put them on 18 for street and thought they were to low or are they ok to use everyday at that psi?I had them at 17-18 at the track and they worked fine.

Ran my last set at 18# and got about 10,000 miles outta them. I have my new set at about 25#. Im going to see how they last. At the track Ill drop them back to 18,but I dont hit the track too often.
This set is also heat cycled from discounttiresdirect.com.

35-32 for DD. 17.5 for the track. I cut 1.8's at the track. I always thought it was unsafe to run 18-20 on the street. Any comments on that?

IMO, 18 on the street is too mushy - expecially at higher speeds. Depending on air temps, I run them closer to 30 lbs. Too much air pressure is no good either. I agree with 18lbs at the track.
