Finally switch to NT05's 315 35 20
Took about less then 1 mile to realize the stock tires really did suck. I can't wait to try them in Ocala this weekend. If you are on the fence. Have no fears. Switch now

Great to hear! I'm close to pulling the trigger on those exact tires.

Another member, BOSSPOWER, I believe, mentioned that the tires felt unstable at high speeds (140+). What is your opinion as to the stability of the tires? I don't think I'll be pushing the MPH quite that high, but I thought I'd ask.

Also, just to clarify: you have the NTO5R's, correct?

Thanks,
Eric

Stock rims, stock height and stock suspension. Plenty of clearance.
I will know stability after this weekend. I had 555r 315 35 17 on my 03 brick and they were fine in the 160's so I'm sure these will be fine

What is your power level at this point?, this will depend the sway that you will have at high speeds, after 140mph is when my sway starts.

What tire pressures do you guys run?
I haven't ran it up to 160 yet but several blasts over 140' don't remember any then but not sustained high speed either.
I usually run 28-30psi but also have 11" rims (OEM widened 1.5")

These are 315/35/20 Nittos mounted on the stock SVTPP rims.I plan on getting Shelby CS 70 chrome 20's. They will be 10" wide rears. I want the old school 5 spoke look, I like the more retro type look.

I've had my 555r 305 35 20 on my 800HP 14 up to 165 on an Interstate in Mexico with no issues at all. Car was rock solid. Car does have upgraded suspension all around.
