by this, i mean the molding that runs along the outside of the door. 50resto has them for $145 a piece, unpainted. is this the best price? seems steep.

no, the adhesive that holds the molding on is too thick.

Those are obsolete from ford now, I have seen NOS ones on Ebay go for $200. I just check there frequently.

Why don't you just clean up your stockers. Maybe a body shop near you can re do them for less than $145 per side.

Good idea. They will dryrot after a while from extreme temps.
