door handle numbers for unlocking???

i got my L used, and never thought about asking the numbers for the key pad. how do i find the number code, or reset the pad to use new numbers?

I am sure that you have already checked this but just in case look in your SVT owner's manual and there should be a card with the numbers on it. At least that was where mine was.

Open your drivers side door and lay on the floor looking up. There is a box above the steering shaft that has numbers on it and there ya go

Yep, should be there. If for some reason it isn't and you know the name of the original dealership, they can tell you what it is.

i need to check mine also, I forgot the code. I would prefer to reset my own code this time.

what you find under the dash is the code you cant change (although a dealer might be able to). You can setup a 2nd personal code. Follow the directions in the manual.

Im pretty sure any dealership can reset it for you.

The code that comes with the module cannot be changed at all. The only way to change the factory code is to change the module itself.

BTW......The module is white in color.
