Do you have to have a new flywheel?

It seems like alot of people are getting a new flywheel with the clutch. Is this just preference or it necessary?

I use my stock flywheel for my SPEC 3...works perfectly. No problems what so ever. I think its preference. The only thing I did was get it machined.

When it's time for a new clutch - usually the flywheel is on it's last leg...as it was in mine..

Any machine shop. As in where you would take your engine to be bored or what not. If you have a carquest there they will do it. Cost 20 bucks here.
