[QUOTE="Black Gold 380R, post: 15723270, member: 70025"] Lot's of good points of view here. I am with most of you. A: I don't drive my cars much either (Brad). I think I average 150 to 300 miles per year depending on the car (i.e. Roush 150 Cobra's 300), but I have to take them to get inspected yearly so, that's why my coupe was out to begin with. Can't get it inspected on Sunday or after hours. B: I normally try to stay ahead of the pack. I do this on a daily basis driving to work in my DD. My route changed when going to the inspection, so my style of driving changed to accommodate the route I took. Easy to stay ahead on the highway, not so much light to light and through school zones. C: I'm not paranoid when driving my Cobra. I am focusing on the other idiots and trying to drive defensively. However, that style of driving takes the fun out of trying to enjoy the drive. Then again, I was taking the Cobra to get inspected, not really trying to enjoy the drive. I appreciate all the feedback and points of view. Really cool hearing how most of the Cobra owners see their cars, view other drivers and how you deal with the everyday risks of driving your car. I think in general I fall in line with most of you. Nothing wrong with being cautious. Oh and to the keying a car comment, that reminded me of something I seen my dad do when I was a kid. He just bought a brand new car (this was in 1977) and when we came back from the store someone was parked next to it. He noticed a door ding. Well, he commenced to keying the S#!T out of the other car and then while he was opening the drivers door he mule kicked the passenger door of the other car. Of course being a kid I was scared watching my dad do this. However, as I reflect on that incident I have to wonder, was that car responsible for the damage or was it the car that just left and this unfortunate soul who just happened to park next to my dad taking the brunt of someone else's mistake???
