2003 Cobra lowered on h&r race springs. car currently has 17x9(oem)/17x10.5(afs) 03 cobra wheels with a small wheel spacer. I bought the car like this. I'm swiching to 18x9/18x10.5 afs 03 cobra replicas with 275/35/18 toyo proxes sport tires int he front and 305/35/18 toyo proxes r888r in the rear. I'd like to ditch the spacer of it will clear. The car does have the low profile irs bolts. Can anyone tell me if this set up will clear without the spacers?

Also will i need to roll fenders with this set up?

305’s should be ok. I have the same wheels and run a 315 Toyo out back, which are notoriously wider than normal. I run a 3/8” spacer, but with the old tires and 315’s I didn’t need a spacer at all. You should be fine. I have 1/4” spacers and another set of 3/8” spacers should you for some reason need them. I can send them to you.

Thanks for the response and all the good info. do you think I'll need to roll the fenders?

I don't want to hijack the thread, but I'm looking for info on the same topic....I just got 18" AFS wheels and want to run the 275/35 and 315/30 R888R combo. My car is low, but on coil-overs so it can be adjusted. I'm running 315/35-17 R888s on the rear now. I have low profile IRS bolt, but no rolled fenders. I tried the search function, but still don't have a clear answer.

I am running Toyo R888R 305/35/18 on 18-inch Whistlers with 3/8 spacers and rub pretty badly, my car is pretty low with cut stock springs, so I am not sure how big a difference that makes but they rub. I am probably gonna have the fenders rolled, I am also wanting to go the Coilover route and maybe even raise the rear.

My experience...
H&R race springs
ISOs top and bottom
Bilstein B8s
Low profile IRS bolts
18" AFS wheels
Haven't needed a spacer or rolled fenders for 315/30/18 R888s, 315/35/18 TQs, or 315/35/17 NT555s. No rubbing unless you jack the back of the car up; the inside will rub on the IRS frame/cradle. Everything squares back up once you set her on the ground.

I'm in the same situation looking for tires on my AFS 18x10.5. I've got H&R super sport springs and thinking of either the Toyo R888R 305/35/18 or Nitto
NT05 295/35/18. I don't want to run a spacer and I don't want to roll my fenders so i'm still researching. Wish it was as easy as finding a tire for the fronts.
