Do I need an inline fuse with relay?

Hey guys,

I was wondering if I should run a inline fuse before or after a relay for one of my mobile electronics?

My understanding was that the relay acted as a fuse as well as a switch.

install it before the relay. Relay acts as a switch only. Details on the use of the relay will help for info on the wiring setup.Remember you have the control circuit wiring( what turns on relay,usually a switch of some type) and you have the load circuit(the device you are turning on through the relay contact)Both wiring circuits should be fused.Hope you understand this.
