Hi guys,

I had a feeling this day would come, as my stock t45 has over 100k miles on it but hadn't missed a beat until these last two days. The car shifts and drives fine, however on basically every shift, regardless of the gear, it will grind for a split second as I'm letting the clutch out. It doesn't do it when taking off in first, but as I shift through the gears it will every time unless I shift extremely slow.

Is it time for an upgrade? Or could it be clutch related?

Thanks!

If it's every gear it might be the clutch. If you have an aftermarket quadrant you can try adjusting it.

I still have the stock quadrant actually. Would that be the best bet to try?

To adjust the clutch, stick your foot under the clutch pedal and pull towards you. You might hear it click and that could be your problem.

Yeah I'm thinking it's a clutch issue, easy way to tell that would be rev match it and shift without the clutch and see if you still get grinding.
