There was no way that ugly KB hockey puck was going on my black on Black KB.
The biggest let down was the ghetto looking plenum and the pulley.
Looks much better this way!!!!!!!!!

I'm glad i've waited a little to touch the supercharger....the options just keep getting better and better. Thanks man. Hopefully you'll have the same for the Whipple if I decide to go that route when I upgrade my supercharger.
Keep up the good work!

Doug,
Is there any chance you could do some 10 rib pulley rings to acomodate this new hub as well?

That way Eaton and KB guys could use the same rings for the 10 rib set-up!

There are about 17 or 18 people getting a 10 rib set-up soon from Metco! And this would help out immensly with the whole upper pulley dilema going on!

Especially if you could do a hub for the Whipple that would except the same rings!

Thanks,
Ken

17-18?

ok... lets say I did make 20... how many people would want different colors..

for each color there is a minimum charge of $80..

$80 x 4(colors) = $320
$320 / 20(pulleys) = $16 extra for each pulley

not to bad....

but now here is the kicker.... What Sizes?....

When I make pulleys I will make 200-300 or more of each size then devide them up in to colors.

I'm sorry but this "Very Small Run" stuff is just not cost effective for me because people think that the parts should cost no more then the production piece.

Programing and setup time are not cheap

you would be looking at about.... ABOUT 3 times the cost...

so ABOUT ... lemme see.... hub and pulley = 150... about 50% for each... so 75 for the ring... x 3 = 225 plus 75 for the hub so ABOUT $300.00 for a 10 rib eaton/KB in 3.15" NS in Red (for example)

Beyond that it would take alot of my time which right now I don't have alot of....

There is a reason why my pulleys work and look as good as they do. It's because I put the engineering, design time and effort and care into what I make... that ain't cheap and it don't happen with a snap of the fingers.

They don't make them with the old style snout anymore.

I bought a old style used one and it is on itz way to KB for a rebuild. I am gonna try to have them upgrade it to the new style then. I just want to make sure it gets done before I order the new style BF hub.
