I bought a used 2011 GT Premium w/ MT82 back in Sept. '13 and sold it almost exactly a year later. Prior to that I had a '93 Cobra that I had for 12 years that stood up to everything I threw at it. Because of that, I never even thought about looking at problems before buying the '11. I had nothing but problems out of the '11 transmission over the year I had it and didn't even abuse the car because it was my daily driver. Other than the crap transmission the car was awesome, the horsepower and gas mileage was great. I'm starting to really miss a sports car and should be in the position to pick another one up somewhat soon. Should a person even consider a newer 5.0 with a stick or will they all act up? I've read about people doing this and that to try and "fix" it but I don't feel like I should have to spend a bunch of money to "fix" the transmission on a low mileage car. I've never owned a camaro but this may push me to the dark side.
