*DIY* Oil Separator/Catch Can w/Pics & Write Up!!! :)

Hate to bring it back from the dead but I have a question for you Rob, I' doing the separator very close to the way you did it and bought the same separator unit but my question is, how deep did you drill/tap the threads for the bracket? did you drill into the inlet/outlet port threads? I have a machine shop at my disposal as well just curious how you did it.

No. I didn't drill that far, all you need is about 1/8". Just enough for the screws to thread in 3/4 turns

I just did this last week based off of this thread, great write up btw. The hardest part to me was not going through as I can be aggressive, but I was able to get close to 3 threads in. I used my dremel to cut my bolts short to where they would bottom out with the bracket tight.
