Disconnect interior courtesy light

Has anyone figured out how to stop the internor courtesy light from coming on when the doors are opened? I can't seem to find any switch in the door jam that I cound disconnect.

Don't want to remove bulb but just manually operate the interior light by turning the headlight switch.:read:

I think the switch is in the door clasp mechinism. Try opening up the door and manually pushing the little fingers to make the door think it is closed. On my truck I disconnected this swith (because it was broke) and now the interior light does not come on, but remember to shut off your head lights, it won't remind you.
