Hi Guys,

Just got the car going for the season, noticed the last 2 days that when cold it's very difficult to get into first gear when stopped, seems easier when rolling, and gets better when warm. I did the clutch cable adjustment, not sure what could be causing this, tranny is stock, clutch is Centreforce.

Anyone have similar issues? Know what it is?

It could just be the crappy quality of the stock shifter. They are directly connected to the transmission and they don't alway cooperate. I changed my tranny fluid which helped a little bit until I get a new shifter. For some reason though my stock clutch still grabs pretty hard.

I have the same clutch as you only mine doesn't go into gear when it gets hot. If the car is moving slightly it will go in. I am pretty sure it is the clutch not disengaging. I am going to try a new clutch cable because when I adjust it, my tob stops squealing and it goes in fine. After 20 mins of driving the squealing comes back and so does the not going into gear scenario.
