Different altitude = new tune?

So I am buying a car from out of state (west coast California) and Im in midwest. Do I need a retune if I am going to race the car here in MO?

If it's modded, it would be wise to get it on a dyno anyways and make sure the a/f is where it should be.

Thats what a maf's job is to do (Adj for DA), but yea always get the tune check when getting one of these cars used

I got mine from California and I'm in Colorado (6000+ ft) and with the altitude differences and his a/f being around 11.7 there mine was about 10.4 and running super rich so it was safe but not a good tune to run around on...
