Hey guys..sorry if this has already been brought up..but I searched and couldn't really find much. Anything I did find was another site. Anyhow, I would like to know the difference between the Bassani Catted BX X-Pipe (on ebay for $456 with ceramic cats), and the Stainless Steel Catted X-Pipe (on ebay for $455 with Metallic Substrate Cats). I'd like to save money..but hearing about the ceramics getting hot or clogging or both and trashing a motor?!?! Thats a little scary..and I don't want to risk my motor by being a cheapskate. Is this true? If it is..are the Metallic Substrates any better or is there still a risk? Lastly..do I need to get a tune after I install the pipe? i'm pretty sure the car has been tuned already with the factory H on before I got it..but should that scare me to put an after market x on it now? The car is lightly modded..(2.8 pulley and program). Thats for all your help!
