diff cover interchangeability

is the diff cover for the 99-04 cobra the same as the thunderbirds? I remember reading this somewhere and am wondering if this is true since I just broke mine( yet another PB day gone bad). Havn't made it to the junk yards to check.

it is a little different...having a brain fart at the moment so I can't tell you exactly what

DOUG@BILLETFLOW modifies the IRS diff cover brace for the TBird guys

if you'd had the brace on there you probably wouldn't have broken it....

I know about the brace, unfortunately just didn't get to it yet. Was worried about it each pass..........coud've bought one for the price of the tow.

Ford has really raised the price on our diff cover since they found out how fragile they are in our application

Doug says the rib at the bottom and the spacer at the top are different

I think it'll still bolt up to the Cobra rear mount but not sure if it is as strong in the gusset
