The TOB from Centerforce (that looks exactly like the one from Ford and has a BCA #) has a pointed side and is elliptical where it fits in the clutch fork. Does it matter where the point is in relation to the TOB seat in the fork? It can only turn so far before it hits the seat. I have the pointed side of mine in the direction of the clutch cable. I checked the dirt pattern on the old TOB, and it looks like it was positioned the same way. I am just about to put the trans back in the car. I want to know if it matter and be sure I have it right if it does.
