So I posted a while ago that the stock 07 clutch bit the dust at 22K. I ended up taking everyone's advice and bought the McLeod RXT for the replacement. I drove the car down to my Dad's shop in Port Orange, FL and decided to change out the springs too.
Installed:
McLeod RXT
McLeod Steel Flywheel
FRPP Struts
FRPP Springs
UMI Adj Panhard Bar
New Rear Brakes
New LR Brake Caliper (slide hung and wouldn't release on car moved freely by hand)
AmsOil 10w-40 (for Beast)
Centered "SHELBY" lettering on rear
Alignment
Did everything last Wednesday except for the brake caliper had to be ordered next day from Ford. Clutch change was very easy (with a lift and proper tools). Ford did a good job making everything fairly simple to unhook underneath the car.
I couldn't believe the condition of the stock clutch. It was stuck to the flywheel when we pulled the trans out and unbolted it. The new clutch feels amazingly light and the car feels like it pulls harder, could be imagination but the butt dyno is feeling something. And the new ride and stance is much better looking and turn-in much sharper and flatter.
