its hard for me to tell on my iphone, but do some of the pictures make DIB look more purple than blue sometimes?

Yes it does have a little purple; it depends on the light source/brightness. My dad's '13 Taurus is DIB. Awesome color!

I'd hit it.
they have the snake and the stripe color inlaid on them (which in my case is black as it is stripe delete)
