I have a Diablo Predator that I bought to tune my 2004 Cobra which is being built as a track only car, SCCA Touring 1 for now and later Grand-Am Cup GS, and it does not work. When I plug it in it powers up, but when I try to do anything with it I get a error that it can't read my vehicle type. I download the new rev r.12d, but it did not help.
The only explanation that I have come up with is that I have removed the stereo, power locks and windows from the car. I don't know if this would be the case or not. Diablo wants me to try a Deltachip now. Before I get a Deltachip I thought I would through this out to see if anyone else has seen a problem like this.
I would love to test the Predator with another Cobra to see if it can read the Calid, which it can't do with mine, to make sure the Predator is work fine so I can sell it since RPM Outlet won't take it back without the original box.
