DFW 03 COBRA Dyno day at Speedworks in Lewisville Saturday March 1

Got it booked, We have March 1, 9AM at Speedworks in Lewisville.

We must have at least 15 cars, then it is $40.00 for 3 pulls. Under 15 cars and the cost to us will be $60.00.

Speed works is right off 121 west of Lewisville.

I spoke with Dan and have it reserved for us and told him that I hope to have at least 15 cars that are 03 Cobra's.

Plan on getting out around 1:30 and I got a recommendation for going to Sonny Bryans BBQ off Old Denton & Hebron Parkway for lunch afterwards. Plenty of parking and good eats. Speedworks is having a car show there the last week in March.

Let me know if your on and I can count you to the goal of 15 minimum. Other cars can be included but we would want to get the 03 Cobra's run first. I will make it a group vote, that I will have numbers that we all will pull out of a hat to determine the order of who does their dyno run. If you not able to make it there at 9 am but would later on, we can schedule your car towards the end.

We should have plenty of pictures being taken and posted along with the Dyno printouts.

Lewisville is west of the Colony, Frisco, it's on I-35 right before the GB Freeway.

I'm doing headers before I dyno the Cobra again guys, if you need to fill it up with OTHER vehicles let me know and I'll throw the F250 PSD on there for grins..

I am planning on a afternoon schedule with Speedworks next week before our Dyno day to to tune a chip for my car and possible have them install the pulley and a BBK throttle body.

Hey, I am a Strategic Buyer always negotiating deals, if we can bring Dan a quantity of others that want the tuning and chip work, I can see if they would offer us a volume discount. I don't think that we could get that done on the Saturday Dyno day, but we could arrange another day for that group work. I was quoted $450 for the dyno tuning and chip, $100 more if I wanted the switchable chip. Speedoworks has a tuner they bring in to perform the programing work on the chip.

If we don't get enough of us 03 Cobra drivers to meet the 15 goal, I am going to ask the neighbors up the street that have a turbo'd Honda that would outrun a 2001 Cobra to join us. Should get them to still join us to show them that ain't no stinkin Honda is going to outdo the 03 Cobra.

Well I'm bringing the '03 Cobra and the '02 CETA #412.

TrubluGT needs to dyno early because he has to be back in Ennis by 12:30 / 1:00 PM.
