Spent Friday and Saturday in the Motor City. We went to the Autorama at the Cobo Arena on Friday and were there from Noon to about 6:30 PM. Lots of cool show cars. On Saturday we went to The Henry Ford museum in the morning and went on a tour of the Rouge F-150 plant in the afternoon. Visitors get to walk along an overhead platform around the perimeter of the assembly area. We watched as a red Raptor came down the final assembly line. It was interesting to see from above how they positioned it to one side on the line due its wider stance compared to the other F-150s. Awesome way to spend a winter weekend if you are a car guy and especially if you are a Ford fanatic like me.
