Detroit auto show have you been?

The 2008 Auto show is Jan. 19-27 and Im thinking about flying up there to see it (from Orlando FL). I found round trip tickets for $108 a piece. Is it worth going to?

i went to detroit to see a friend when i was about 13, i flew from louisville KY to Detroit by myself and his dad took us to the auto show, i seen some really cool cars...well worth it

Used to go all the time. Last year didnt go and i didnt miss it that much. The last couple years that i had gone it was getting almost to crowded to get a good look at the cars. I guess it dpends on when you go but i always had to go on the weekend due to work. If you could get down there on a week day it would be great.

I've been to the auto shows in Denver, Dallas, and Houston...I'd like to go to the one in Detroit someday, but it's mostly the same cars and concepts that visit all the other cities, you just get to see them sooner.

I've been twice and to me it is a good time. Lots of sweet cars with lots of hot chicks hanging around them. :banana: I will be going to the Chicago auto show in a few weeks to see the Challenger. :banana:epper:

I used to go to the auto-show in d.c. and always had a fun time, im sure the detroit one will be col to but not to spend that much money, by the time you pay for cabs and such and thats if you dont spend the night there its gonna cost way too much

I went this yr. Its not worth it for someone who lives as far away as you. Its only an hour drive for me.
