Detailing Pad Colors

Has anyone "decoded" detailing (Sonus, Lake Country, Etc.) pads by their color and what applications they should be used?

Lake Country 6.5" DA Pads,

Orange- Cutting Pad, Swirl Removal
White- Polishing Pad, Polishes, Light Swirl removal
Black- Finishing pad, Sealants and Carnaubas.

The colors vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. You'll know what they do when you settle on a brand and order them. You can also tell just by feeling them...the harder ones are cutting/polishing pads, and the softer ones are polishing/finishing pads.
