'destination' road tracks. What're your thoughts? Do you have one close by?

I'd wager that most of the guys that can afford it DO have the free time LOL. They also use the front straight as a landing strip and they've been known to charter people in from Scottsdale. I too will miss the next event there because I blew my engine a couple months ago, and even though I'll have it running again this weekend, I won't have it broken in in time.

I hear that. I popped my engine at West track in October. Racing is expensive.


Has anyone stayed at the villas at VIR? Someone I know suggested a trip up there and staying at the track. He said they were supposed to be nice but I haven't looked into it yet.
