I have a simplistic view of what defines "beat on" (Terminator). When I had my '03 Cobra it had basic "fun" mods. Ported Eaton, 2.80 upper, exhaust, tune, etc. The car was a blast to drive. I normally drove the car to moderate revs. I would occasionally run to redline and did some WOT runs from a dig. I never did burnouts at length and didn't routinely hit redline. I didn't abuse the car nor the engine. This is a solid engine! IMO, I didn't beat on my car. When I sold it, there were no issues before, during or after the sale that would reflect that the car had been beat on. I also regularly changed the oil/filter, changed plugs, changed the air filter, etc. It was properly maintained, in other words. So if I regularly ran to redline, bounced the rev limiter, did high gear WOT runs to 130+, routinely did burnouts, etc., I'd then say that I beat on my Cobra. This is just how I personally define "beat on". We're fortunate that Ford build a solid motor for the Terminator. Lesser motors would have a lower bar.
