Defeat PATS? (pass. anti-theft system)

Without knowing it I disabled my Viper alarm system while putting on new tail lights. At the same time the PATSII system on my 99 activated. The only thing that has power is the blinking "theft" light on the dash.

Hell if I know why it came on, and I dont know if I even have the factory key. Somehow someone got it to work along with the Viper alarm. (now the keyfob cant activate the Viper alarm either. )

Anyone reset their Pats?

Just went through this. Only the dealer can to my knowledge or have pats turned off in the tune with a custom tune.

Cost me $75 at the dealer to reset pats.

If there is a tuner locally with a Rotunda tool from ford they can do it as well.
