Hey guys had the car out last night and twice when I downshifted to slow down in a 3rd 2nd and 1st it did it to me once and 2nd and 1st the other time. When I downshifted the revs went up but the car kept coasting and didn't slow down as like I didn't put in gear but as soon as i hit the gas the car went and would de-accel again. This only happened for me twice in the whole day. Everything else seems normal just found it weird it did that to me once and than not again till way later.

I only downshift while matching revs to accelerate for this very reason. Brake pads are less expensive to change than clutches, not to mention why work the driveline and more heat into the motor. Also if your EGR is still in line you're sucking tons of hot ex. gas into the intake causing the IAT2's to climb.
