I had a squealing TOB, and had read many threads about new trannies, voided warranties for excessive tire wear, voided warranties for discolored spark plugs, etc. etc.

I was more than a little worried.

My dealer just replaced the TOB. In one day, and out the next. Free loaner. Great service, no hassle at all. Life is good.

CW, Got my TOB replaced too.

But....

It is now squealing again. Got about 4,000 miles on first and second TOB's. Not trying to bring ya down brother, but beware!

Venams:
They replaced (and this is right off the RO) the:

hub & grb asy-cl rel MT7548 replace clutch release bearing 341 WF Part# F7ZZ*7548*AA

I guess that's the throw out bearing...

BLK_03:
I hear ya, Bro. No way am I doing any mods until either the TOB deal is fixed for sure, or I hit 36,000 miles. Just not worth the risk of getting voided. And the probability of TOB problem recurrence is high, from what I can tell. Maybe Ford will at least issue a TSB...

BTW, according to the RO, they also inspected my tires and brakes. Here is what they found (and this is right off the RO):
"Perform multi point inspection...tires green brakes green"

Anybody know what "tires green brakes green" means?

Thanks,
CW
