2004 model year, all original.

I noticed in the owner’s manual that the day time running lights circuit has a dedicated fuse. In order to deactivate the daytime running lights, can I simply remove this fuse? Or, is there a different/better way to deactivate the daytime lights?

Any side effects that I should be aware of if I do deactivate the daytime lights?

He is correct Todd, Canada exports had them. OP I’m not sure on your question. Maybe Jgoffin or however his screen name is will have an idea.

Mine was a Canada car too, unplug the DRL module it’s behind the bumper above the Fog light on the drivers side IIRC.
