Datalogging on the street

I've got everything hooked up and played with it some. Seems to be working well. (Xcal2 with LM1)

My question is how are you guys doing the runs?

I was asked to do them in third, do you cruise along with OD off until it shifts into third and the rpms are over 3K then go WOT? Seems like if I do that until redline I'll be rolling along at a VERY good clip!

Yup that's what needs to be done. I have a specific tune that I use to datalog with that locks the converter down low in third. As you said doing them this way makes for some HIGH speeds at the end, something I really don't enjoy doing any longer. 3rd is the best and only way to get accurate useable info however.
