Dangers of Bad Fuel Vapor Canister?

Hey there people! I hit a retread the other night and it nailed the canister at the back of my car. It's throwing a P0455 code.

Are there any issues with driving it? I can't get to the dealer for a few days due to my work schedule but I don't feel like damaging anything.
