Good Lord, I've plugged 10 tires like that in my life and never had any issue. Sure if you were planning a 200 mph run you might not do it, otherwise no big deal.

I plug tires in some of my cars as needed but this one has/will and might roll out again

Good luck to you! We wrere doing some neat stuff so I have a right front and two rears un hurt and a left front patched tire for those that don't mind a patch
