Was down in New Orleans and myself and some friends met up with Kyle and his crew from 1320 Video to do some highway pulls. This is the footage I captured from my camera’s until they put there’s out.

Was a good time. Wish we could have got more runs in.

I usually stay out but since you were in my neck of the woods I'll be that guy.
1. A good bit of traffic during a couple of those runs.
2. was this before or after Jeff got killed and they cancelled the WGF event?

This was after the event like around 11:30-midnight. There was one run for sure with regular traffic but the rest of those cars you see we’re out with us meeting up at different spots. Some we tried to shake to lessen the crowd but they kept following since we had 1320 with us.

See, that's what gets me, even after earlier that day.......

The more vids like this I see the more I despise street racing.
Yea, I did it too. Years ago. Years ago when the fastest car was 12s.
We went to a 2 lane road in the middle of the cane field. The only 2 people who could have gotten hurt was the drivers.
But here we are now doing high speed rolls with traffic.
Your clock said 11:05. Part of my family passed through one of the areas I recognize around 10:30 that night.

After the event cancelled some of the guys went out to the pad I heard and there was another crash.

You still must have not processed what happened that day,
I was there and had just finished getting my car ready so I could bring it to the staging lanes. Heard the crash and saw the cloud of dust in the air. Very surreal scene and still haven’t fully processed it.
if you did you would have carried your ass home.

Sorry I had to jump in your thread but this one kind of hit home.
End of rant I guess.

It’s gonna come off as an excuse or however you want to take it but after what happened earlier in the day we were all down and sat around for hours staring off into space. We eventually decided to meet up like we had planned. Went out and cruised. Got a few runs in, went to da pad, and then went home. Sure staying home doing nothing from the outside looking in is the easy thing to say but we tried to shake it off and do something else. At the end of the day it didn’t help.

Anyway I wish we could keep this simply to the cars and the actual racing.

Time and place, and this was neither. At 26 I'm more old school than most, I guess, where I only want the two (sometimes three) participants and nobody else. No film crew, no passengers, no innocent families on the way to work/school/dinner/home/etc.

Especially with cars as fast as this. And save me from the "keep this simply to the cars and the actual racing." Post a video like this and take the good with the bad.

Videos like this shouldn't be allowed on this site, or on YouTube for that matter. All it does is glorify people creating them, making them more and more popular.

Dangerous. Unsafe. Poor choices.

Not worth much. ;)

OP should go out to their local track with them.

Oh, the one that had bumps at the shutdown? Being facetious here.

In all fairness, I see more carnage at the track versus on the street.
